The South Dunedin Street Festival is on again on the first Saturday in November. So that’s November 4 – should be a blast!
Please read all the information below… that includes the: Stall Holder Information, Stall Holder Application Form, DCC Food at Events Form and the Terms and Conditions of the Street Festival.
Everybody who wants a stall needs to complete the online application form.
Traders need prove they have met their Dunedin City Council obligations – through a Mobile Trader’s license, food preparation license and the DCC Food at Events form as appropriate for your stall.
Our Foodies have all reported satisfaction with their days at the South Dunedin Street Festival and we are keen to see that continue.
Council are very supportive and helpful with this event, and do what they can to make it easy for food providers to be part of the Festival.
The Festival aims to stage events that celebrate the diverse and vibrant community of South Dunedin and through such events to contribute to the social wellbeing and cultural richness of our community.
The Festival area is free from sugar sweetened beverages. We will provide food vendors with bottled water at a very low cost because we also want to protect your business in this. More detail is below.
We need evidence for the Council if you have a mobile traders license. (If you are a Food Provider without a Mobile Trader’s licence you must complete the Food at Events form. If your base is outside of Dunedin, your local licence is usually acceptable. Out of town traders – please send us a copy and, if it’s easy for Dunedin based traders send a copy too. Otherwise your License details should be enough.
